How to bring your immune system naturally into balance ?

Do you have any resolutions for 2022? I have one: to bring my immune system into a balance. During my research to find a scientific answer I found out in a nutshell the following suggestions over and over again:

 

Aim to manage your stress

A balanced nutriotious diet

Perform regularly, moderate exercise

Getting a good amount of sleep

 

The good news is that we have the expertise and in cooperation with our partners our ONLINE STUDIO for body and mind offer a clear structued three-month program specialized and focused on how to work on our immune system to cover all the above mentioned topics.

What is the Immune System?

The immune system is a specialized network of cells, nodes, tissues, and organs that work together to defend us against diseases and infections. When fully optimized our immune system prevent infections, destroy viruses and balance good/bad bacteria levels without us ever giving this process a second thought. In fact, we usually think about the immune system only after we have come down with something.

We developed a special program including yoga, meditations, breathing and mindfulness.

 

With YOGA in general we can reduce stress hormones and strengthen the immune system.

 

Kundalini yoga kriyas we will work on our lymphatic system, glands including thymus gland, lungs …

 

Energy Medicine Yoga is an integrative practice combining Energy Medicine and kinesiologic techniques like tapping, acupressure holds and neurolymphatic reflex self-massage into a yoga practice.

 

Whereas Rest Relax and Restore = RESTORATIVE Yoga supported by a few Energy Medicine techniques is great to strengthen the immune system.

 

The immune system is linked to the connective and adipose tissue of the human body in many areas. Functions of the immune system are, among other things, embedded in the fascia. Therefore, a healthy fascial system can strengthen and support the function of the immune system. Practice with Silke and support your immune system from the perspective of the facia.

“It is so important for people to understand that there is not one guaranteed way to boost the immune system. There are a multitude of factors that play into having a well-maintained immune system. Consuming trendy foods or taking pills will not offer a shortcut to attaining a healthy immune system. When thinking of ways to stay healthy, the goal should not be to take supplements to boost the immune system, but it should be to have an overall balanced immune system that works in harmony with your body” Kanika Monga, MD, rheumatology fellow with McGovern Medical School at UTHealth and UT Physicians.

In fact, Monga says the idea of boosting the immune system using only pills & supplements has no scientific value.

60% of our immune system is based in our gut and lymphatic system.

The lymph vessels act as the superhighway of the immune system, allowing for open communication with other immune functions.

Sleep

Meditation, yoga, feldenkrais

Aim for 7-9 hours of sleep nightly. Our body clock, or circadian rhythm, regulates feelings of sleepiness and wakefulness, so having a consistent sleep schedule maintains a balanced circadian rhythm so that we can enter deeper, more restful sleep.

Meditation with TENZIN at 9 a.m. Vienna time for 45 minutes to reduce stress and improve sleep quality.

Movement Meditation – Arts of Taiji by Kwang-Jin at 10:00 am for 60 minutes. All about mindfulness, the focus here is on focusing the mind on the body through the breath.

In Kundalini Yoga, Yogi Bhajan’s series of exercises, so-called Kriyas, and meditations serve a specific purpose that works on your existence and accompanies you in your processes.

Feldenkrais® At 8 p.m. for 60 minutes.

By observing gentle movements carefully, you will learn how your body works and what you are capable of. With that awareness, you can then do whatever you want. Of course, this in turn also means that your own performance improves, be it in yoga, in sports or in everyday life.

I’m Claudia Geyer, 49 and I live near Erding! Nutritional counseling is not only my job, but also my calling!

 

After a serious illness that completely changed my life in 2010, I was able to learn a lot.
